Preveli’s beach is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Crete 40 klm distance from Rethymno city. It’s a place with a stunning beauty because of a palm forest which is on the banks of a large river, the second biggest palm forest of Crete. You can walk across the river under the shadow of the palm trees and walk up to the wonderful gorge.
